Real Estate Agents Authority
Our industry is overseen by the Real Estate Agents Authority which is a Crown entity established under the Real Estate Agents Act 2008.
The REAA provides consumer information to those thinking of buying or selling a property, including information on topics such as agents and licensing, contractual arrangements, sales options, sole agency, marketing and risks to consumers.

The rules set minimum standards for real estate professionals when carrying out their work and dealing with clients.
